On April 10th and 11th, 2021 the 115th Illinois State Tournament was held in Marion, IL by the Illinois State Checker Association (ISCA).
Ten players attended from four states. Gary Ellison is the new Illinois State Champion. The tournament champion was tied between Vadym Lapin and Tetiana Zaitseva. The B Class top Illinois player is Roger Doll. Top B Class player is George Stallsworth. A good time was had by everyone. The ISCA wants to be specially thank Joe McDaniel for his generous donation to the prize fund. Please mark your calendar to the first weekend in October 2021 for the Illinois 101 Tournament.
